Founded in 2008, Neoen is one of the world’s leading independent producers of exclusively renewable energy. With expertise in solar power, wind power and storage, the company plays an active role in the energy transition by producing competitive, green, local energy on four continents.

Our total capacity in operation or under construction stands currently at 8.4 GW and we are aiming for more than 10 GW in the course of 2025.

The sun is the most widely available source of energy on earth and the quickest to be deployed. Particularly competitive in many countries, solar power was Neoen’s first sector and remains our main business line.

Onshore wind farms are a mature source of renewable energy at competitive rates. We currently focus our wind farm business in Australia, France, Finland, Sweden, and Ireland where we have a substantial portfolio of projects in development.

Energy storage is the answer to the volatile nature of renewable energy sources and a key part of our activities. Our 300 MW / 450 MWh Victorian Big Battery is one of the world’s largest batteries. We now have storage units in Australia, France, Finland and El Salvador.
