INDIGENOUS COMMUNITY BUSINESS FUND
In response to COVID19, Indigenous community-owned businesses and microbusinesses can now apply for funding from the Indigenous Community Business Fund. The funding, through non-repayable financial contributions, will provide support for businesses whose revenues have been affected by the COVID19 pandemic. CALL FOR PROPOSALS
For those First Nations that are considering providing an application for 2020-21 through the Lands and Economic Development Services Program (LEDSP) Targeted Funding or the Community Opportunity Readiness Program (CORP) with an expected contribution from ISC under $250,000, ISC will be accepting proposals for a third intake by September 1. Applications for 2021-22 CORP Major Projects with an expected contribution from ISC over $250,000 are due by December. The CORP/LEDSP application template form can be found at this website.
The LEDSP Planned Activities and Report for core economic development funding from 2019-20 was due March 31. This report identifies both the results for the past fiscal year (2019-20) and the planned activities for upcoming fiscal year (2020-21). The template form can be found at this website.
The LED Project Status Report and deliverables for specific projects from 2019-20 for CORP or LEDSP are due May 31 or sooner. The LED report template form can be found at this website.
